Joan Garnet, RIA Consultant at Codeoscopic, took part in Adobe En Vivo conferences, making a speech about the comparison of Adobe AIR and Adobe Flash Player APIs.
Codeoscopic took an active parte in Adobe En Vivo, during the conferences on July 16th, with the participation of one of his top members: Joan Garnet, Flash and Flex Plattform specialist, and also one of the great representative of the hispanic RIA community
Joan offered an API comparison showing what can be achieved with AIR that cannot be done using Flash Player. A very interesting speech that gets good reception.

Codeoscopic releases Avant a new advanced insurance aggregator that offers great flexibility in products and carriers, together with richness visualization due to the use of RIA technologies.
Avant solves quotation and issuing process through three different distribution channels: traditional brokers, huge distribution networks and Internet (direct online market).
Avant allows you to easily add any carrier (national, international, coverholder, etc) and product, so brokers are not limited to any subset of mass products offered by older aggregators.

Codeoscopic announces today the release of his new website, conceived as the central information point of this new IT consulting firm, made up of RIA experts coming from carlosrovira.com and Prexon Consulting.
Codeoscopic is specialized in the RIA segment, specifically in Adobe Flex, having most of the major national experts in this technology, leaded by software architect Carlos Rovira.
Since the first use of RIA term, in Macromedia website in 2002, this technology has grown substancially and has become one of the main web development paradigms today. In 2009, it is estimated that near 65% of all new web application development will include RIA technologies.

Codeoscopic in AUG Adobe Tour 2009
Thanks to Adobe Iberia and Made In Flex, a new Adobe Tour 2009 event will take place in Barcelona, next June 5th. Those present will know straight from the horse?s mouth the recentness about Adobe Flex 4 and Adobe Flash Catalyst.
Carlos Rovira, Chief Technology Officer at Codeoscopic, will be one of the speakers and his speech will be centered on search engine indexing techniques for Flex applications.

RIAlity, the JEE architecture from Codeoscopic, especially designed for RIA applications development, continues his evolution with new features. It is worth mentioning the integration of Apache Jackrabbit.
Apache Jackrabbit is a Content Management System fully conforming JSR170 specification, providing a standard API.
This new open source tool, together with others like Spring or JPA, are used inside RIAlity?s core, providing a JEE architecture that enables great productivity in software development with Adobe Flex and Java, through solid predesigned components and agile Eclipse plugins.
